Thomas H. Riske is Principal at Carmody MacDonald and leads the firm’s Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice. Mr. Riske represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, creditors’ committees and bankruptcy trustees and regularly handles all aspects of complex bankruptcies, workouts, reorganizations, debt restructuring and other matters related to debtors’ and creditors’ rights and remedies. He has handled appellate bankruptcy litigation in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits. In January 2020, Mr. Riske was appointed as a Subchapter V
Chapter 11 Trustee for the Southern District of Illinois.
