About Peter Amend

Peter J. Amend practices in the Business Reorganization Group at the firm. He focuses his practice on restructuring and distressed-related matters in various capacities for asset purchasers, distressed investors and lenders, debtors, creditors, and equity owners. Upon graduation from law school, Peter clerked for the Hon. Martin Glenn, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining Schulte, Peter was an associate at two large international law firms, where his practice was focused on financial restructuring and insolvency. Peter has authored several articles on developments in restructuring law. Some of Peter's works have been published in nationwide publications such as Law360. Peter is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School where he served as executive articles editor for the Brooklyn Journal of Corporate, Financial, & Commercial Law.
