Commercial Receivers Association Welcomes Three New State Directors – Richard Arbuckle, Marc Miceli, and David Payne

(ST. LOUIS, MO) April 12, 2023 – As the Commercial Receivers Association (CRA) ushers in its second year, it is pleased to announce the appointment of three new State Directors – Richard Arbuckle of East West Bank, Marc D. Miceli of S. Mitnick Law, PC and David Payne of D.R. Payne & Associates, from Georgia, New Jersey and Oklahoma respectively.  With these new appointments within only the second year, the CRA is well on its way to achieving important goals and milestones towards strong, strategic growth across the country.  The association also remains focused on building a network of connected, informed and most importantly well-qualified members that will elevate the level of commercial receivership practice across the United States.

“By adding new State Directors in Georgia, New Jersey and Oklahoma CRA continues to develop of nationwide, cohesive network of commercial receivership experts that will help fulfill on our mission of empowering the education and standardization of commercial receivership administration while providing education, promotion, and practical resources to our members,” said Eric Peterson, Board President and Co-Founder of the CRA.  “Rick, Marc and David have extensive experience within the commercial receivership practice and will be valuable assets to the association and its members within their home states and across the entire CRA landscape.”

CRA is also planning its inaugural in-person conference for August 2023 at Saint Louis Union Station in Saint Louis, MO.  CRA also has planned events to launch state chapters in the states of Washington, Utah, and Illinois, which will supplement the recent launches in Florida, Georgia, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, and New York.

Receivership is and continues to be a viable option for creditors to reclaim their interest in financially distressed companies, and a valuable, efficient option for resolution of insolvency issues affecting private companies.  The CRA is committed to offering a consistent source of information about the the growth and development of commercial receiverships throughout the country.
